Microsoft office professional plus 2010 trial encountered an error during setup free a new question. I\’ve finally gotten Office out of the http://replace.me/11452.txt so that I can install Unfortunately, every time I try, this error appears.

Does anybody have any ideas as to what is going on and how I encounered remedy this? Please don\’t make my officw back to Switch user don\’t log off! Double-check that everything works. This will force the computer to shut down instantly, which will close the installer with the error without giving it the opportunity to roll back its changes.

I am trying to install Office Professional Plus – the full version. I never had any other installation of office. But, I read the uninstall guide anyway, and was surprised to see that there were some folders for office in my program files folder.

I thought that the installer left that behind. So I deleted them, in safe mode, of course. Then I deleted the registry keys, except instead of deleting the keys named There was also 8. I also cleared my temp folder, which is usually empty because I clear it often. A lot of the things on the guide were not there, though, because I don\’t think I ever had any office, they were just there.

So I tried installing again but the same error appeared. This time, however, there was no leftover office folder in program files. All of this was done in safe mode. And I think the ose Try installing Office in Windows clean boot mode and verify the results. Note: After completing the troubleshooting steps, reset the windows to start normally. I installed it to my laptop with no problems. My desktop makes it through key validation and into Office setup and then says \”Microsoft Office Professional Plus encountered an error during setup\” and that\’s it. I have tried numerous times to complete the process, including rebooting the computer and disabeling the virus scanner and firewall, to no avail. Initially I tried to install the 64 bit version but it said I would need to first uninstall the 32 bit versions of Office and Visio I am reluctant to do this so I went to the 32 bit version of Office and this is when the problem with setup began.

Also write the Product key on the disk.
